Funds help from Country Fair, Craft Bazaar

Large parish fundraising events, such as the Country Fair and Craft Bazaar have many social benefits, such as bringing people together, and the funds raised also help the many ministries of Church of the Holy Spirit.

The 30^th annual Country Fair, in summer 2007, produced the largest profit ever. Coordinators presented a check to the parish for $50,030 (the extra $30 honored the Fair’s 30th anniversary). All funds went to the current fiscal year (FY2008 Budget), In recent years, some or all of this had to be used to “catch up,” in the prior fiscal year.

The Craft Bazaar, fall 2007, also did very well.  Their proceeds of $6,200 were distributed among the general operating fund, 10x100, and the food pantry.
