Intuition for Women at Well; next, a journey

Intuition was the topic at the January Women at the Well presentation.  About 125 women feasted on delicious taco salad made and donated by parishioner Elena Fuhrmann before they listened to Lisa Klare and Nancy Creely discuss using and trusting our intuition. 

The presentation included many definitions about what intuition is and can be. One of them, from Mona Lisa Schula, M.D., Ph.D. from her book "Awakening Intuition" defined intuition as, "Another unique language created by the brain and the body to help us gain insight into and understanding of our past and to provide solutions for the future."

Nancy and Lisa went on to explain that listening to our intuition can connect us to our spirituality; help us look inside ourselves for what is right for ourselves; and often give us a head start on preventing illness.

They then went on to discuss the internal and external intuitive responses from our body. Internally we might feel goose bumps, excitement or dread, have a powerful dream or those tiny hairs that stand on end.  Externally they spoke of meaningful coincidences.

Overall, it was an enlightening and enriching evening.

The next Women at the Well is Tuesday, March 4, where the topic is the Journey of Life.
