Loving and compassionate God, help us to stay open to your guidance and to trust that you want what is best for our parish. May the Holy Spirit guide the Cardinal and Priest Placement Board in the selection of our new Pastor. May the new pastor continue to empower the members of our parish, and may we, the parishioners, be generous and supportive as we begin this new journey. Help us to let go of the pastor we now cherish and make room for the new pastor who is to come. Let us trust, O God, that all things do work together for the good of us, your people. Amen.
