Church of the Holy Spirit has grown from the original 65 families in 1975 to over 2,700 households from all walks of life. With this wonderful growth came more demands on the Parish Center and Rectory which led to the building of our new Ministry Center, courtyard and expanded parking lot, all completed in 2003. No further construction projects are planned!
100 ministries
Nearly 100 active ministries allow people of Church of the Holy Spirit help those within our faith community and beyond. Ministries are categorized as worship, education/formation, pastoral outreach, administration, and social. More than 50 are coordinated in or have related ministries in Spanish.

Editor’s note: Church of the Holy Spirit (CHS) has plentiful music ministries from which to choose. See Mass and rehearsal times on the calendar page. Youth Ensemble, which accepts young people from 7th through 12th grades, began its season Sept. 23, with a Sept. 9 Teen Mass.

Craft Bazaar sews up fun, year round

Fall Festival: Potluck supper, dancing
Back by popular demand, several hundred parishioners, young and young at heart, enjoyed our fourth parish Fall Festival, Saturday Sept. 29, with a Hawaiian theme.

Make sure to mark your calendars for more Women at the Well. The evening starts at 7:00 p.m. and a $7 donation would be appreciated.

Pastor’s Perspective
By FR. BILL TKACHUK, PASTOR This issue of Spirited Times includes the Parish Annual Financial Report for the year that ended June 30, 2007. Each year every pastor must report on the pastoral and financial status of the parish to the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center, to our local Vicar, Bishop George Rassas, and to the members of the parish he serves. At Church of the Holy Spirit, I do this with the assistance of our Administrative Associate, Brother Tom Minta, and in consultation with the parish Finance Council.
